The Deep Sea Scout Fellowship aims to enable Scouts afloat to get in touch with other Scouts in ports throughout the world and to continue their Scouting activities in their seagoing profession.
The DSSF maintains formal and informal contact with sea-going members and landlubbers alike, keeping them in touch with the changes in Scouting and events both National and International which may coincide with their travels, and providing links with other groups such as British Groups Abroad, British Scouts in Western Europe and other National Associations.
Shore-based members help by maintaining National and International links through their enthusiastic help at National Camps throughout the UK.
